Percentages are the document's own '% to NAV' column (already in percent). Futures carry an EXPLICIT Long/Short column (col 4) - used verbatim. Options carry a Call/Put column instead of Long/Short: the single NIFTY Put Option line has positive quantity (11,700) and positive % to NAV (+0.0335), while all seven stock Call Option lines have negative quantity and negative % to NAV, so side for the options block was DERIVED from the sign of quantity and % to NAV (long put, written/short calls); the option type (Put Option / Call Option) is appended to the holding name. pct values are stored as absolute values - use 'side' for direction. The AMC prints no single gross/net exposure figure; the disclosed derivative sub-totals are Index/Stock Future +4.5375% and Index/Stock Option -7.0465%, netting to -2.509%. Disclosure of Margins as of 31 May 2026: Total Gross Margin Rs 7,000 lakhs (all T-Bills at face value). Net Assets Rs 5,487,242,902.827 (Rs 548.72 Cr). Portfolio turnover 0.07 times. Sleeve roll-ups: debt 25.4472 = G-sec 3.6221 + NCDs 21.8251; other 22.9931 = money-market T-bills 14.4487 + repo 3.4197 + net current assets 5.1247. equity+debt+other = 99.9665, and the remaining 0.0335 is the long NIFTY Put Option, which the AMC includes inside 'Portfolio Total' 94.8753 while the futures and written calls sit outside it. Source workbook covers BOTH Titanium funds - hybrid data is on sheet 'Titanium Hybrid Long Short Fund'.

Normalised from the AMC's published portfolio statement. Derivative market value, notional exposure and regulatory gross exposure can be measured on different bases, so the AMC's own statement remains controlling. Holdings are historical and change without notice — this is not a recommendation to buy or sell any security.

How the fund actually invests

A hybrid long-short strategy that runs a 65–75% equity book against a 25–35% debt book, using derivatives both to hedge and to take limited short positions. Subscriptions are accepted daily, but redemption is only on the first business day of each month.

The objective, as stated in the scheme document. Tata's Investment Strategy Information Document defines the aim as generating "medium to long term capital appreciation by investing in equity and equity related instruments as well as debt and money market instruments, including limited short exposure in equity and debt through derivatives" — with the standard caveat that there is no assurance the objective will be achieved.

The equity book is bounded, not flexible. Equity and equity-related instruments are held between 65% and 75% of investible funds — a materially narrower band than a balanced-advantage fund, which can swing far wider. Debt and money-market instruments take 25–35%, and REITs/InvITs up to 10%.

Shorting is capped at a quarter of the book. Within the equity allocation, hedged exposure (index and stock futures and options, covered calls, protective puts) may run to 75%, while unhedged short derivative positions are capped at 25% of net assets — the ceiling SEBI's SIF framework permits. Cumulative gross exposure is capped at 100% of net assets.

Liquidity is the real trade-off here. This is an interval strategy. You can subscribe on any business day, but redemption is available only once a month, on the first business day. Units are listed on the BSE. Anyone treating a SIF like an open-ended fund should understand this constraint before committing capital.

The risk band has already moved once. At launch the strategy carried Risk Band Level 5; Tata's site now shows Level 3, following an addendum effective 10 January 2026. SIF risk bands are re-evaluated monthly, so this figure is time-sensitive by design — check the current band before you invest.

Documents & source files

Everything on this page traces back to a document Tata published. Here they are, so you can read the primary source yourself rather than take our word for it.

When new documents appear. AMCs publish the previous month's factsheet and portfolio disclosure in the first week or so of each month — so from around the 8th you can generally expect the prior month-end file. Our desk re-checks every AMC on that cycle and updates the holdings and figures on this page. Links point to the AMC's own site, so you always land on their current file, not a stale copy of ours.

Every Hybrid Long-Short SIF we track

All Hybrid Long-Short funds we track, with their latest NAV, trailing returns, size and risk level. This fund is highlighted. Click a column heading to sort the table; the # column then shows each fund's position on that column. It is arithmetic on the period you chose, not a rating or a recommendation. Most SIFs are young, so check each fund's age before comparing. Open any fund's page from its name, or use the compare tool for a side-by-side view.

“—” means the fund is too young for that period or the figure isn't disclosed yet. Default order: 3-month return. NAV and returns follow the plan selected above (Growth option); AUM and risk level from Value Research.

What a Hybrid Long-Short SIF actually does

Invests across equity and debt within SEBI-defined bands, using derivatives both to hedge and to take short positions. Unhedged short exposure is capped at 25% of net assets. The most common SIF flavour, usually positioned as a balanced-advantage alternative.

Every Specialized Investment Fund sits between mutual funds and PMS: a ₹10 lakh minimum (aggregated per PAN per AMC), SEBI's Chapter VI-C framework, and mutual-fund-grade taxation — equity-oriented strategies attract 12.5% LTCG after 12 months. Learn the mechanics on our What is a SIF page, or read the August 2026 Coverage Report.

On sourcing. The scheme facts on this page are taken from the AMC's own Scheme Information Document, Investment Strategy Information Document and Key Information Memorandum, with the source linked above. The live NAV comes from AMFI; AUM and risk level from Value Research; the expense ratio from AMFI. Where a detail is not disclosed by the AMC we say so rather than estimate it — we never guess a number.
