Redemptions and liquidity · a SIF concept, explained from SEBI’s rules.
In one line
A window before a redemption date in which a SIF strategy accepts redemption requests. It may not exceed 15 working days, and the investor receives the NAV at the end of it.
Depending on the strategy's structure and liquidity risk, the fund house may set a redemption notice period of at most 15 working days; the redeeming investor receives the NAV at the end of the notice period (circular para 7.1.2; FAQ A17). A notice period is optional (B43). Requests are accepted only within the window stated in the ISID and may be rejected outside it (A18).
