Joined SBI Funds Management in November 2018 as an equity analyst and was later appointed a fund manager for SBI Mutual Fund schemes; became CIO – Alternatives Equity in October 2021, a role in which, among other strategies, he managed SBI Optimal Equity Fund, a long-short Category III AIF, for nearly three years. Earlier a portfolio manager at Ambit Investment Advisors and an institutional equities research analyst at Ambit Capital; began his career at Edelweiss Capital in May 2006. Also manages Magnum Hybrid Long Short Fund (since October 2025).
